The Beach is part of an ongoing series of small works that revolve around the journey across abstract landscapes. For this work i tried many different patterns of drawing, to bring the sea and its surroundings to life. A very small character is added on the shores. For me, the fuction of such characters is to reward a patient viewer with something suprising.

The poem 'Hermit Speaks' was created as an inpiration from the work itself. The rights of the poem are fully bound to the work and may be freely used if said work is purchased.

A hanging system is included on the back and can be easily mounted on a single nail.
